CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, July 28, 2025 – The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Misamis Oriental successfully conducted its Field Officers’ Conference and Assessment on the Department’s Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) on July 28, 2025, at Villa la Viña by Purple Tree, Cagayan de Oro City.

The activity gathered field officers across the province to align strategies and preparations for upcoming audits, particularly the Peace and Order Council (POC), Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC), and Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangays (SGLGB).

𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗚 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗥𝗕𝗠𝗘 𝗥𝗲-𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗔𝗦𝗛

𝗖𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡 𝗗𝗘 𝗢𝗥𝗢 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟰–𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 — DILG Misamis Oriental participated in the Re-echo Session on the recently held Coaches' Training on Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation (RBME) for Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), conducted at the DILG Regional Office in Cagayan de Oro City.

Representing the province were PDMU Engr. Jonathan B. Comcom and LGOO Engr. Jelachrise S. Baconawa-Adlawan. The two-day activity aimed to equip DILG personnel with practical tools and knowledge to strengthen WASH implementation and support the upcoming RBME rollout to SAFPB beneficiary LGUs this August.

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, JULY 25 - the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Misamis Oriental, under the leadership of Provincial Director Engr. Marisia C. Naybe, CESE, EnP, and with the assistance of the Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU) staff, conducted a technical assistance and briefing session for beneficiary Local Government Units (LGUs) under the FY 2025 Local Government Support Fund – Support and Assistance Fund to Participatory Barangays (LGSF-SAFPB).

The activity was attended by engineering and planning officers from LGUs Binuangan, Sugbongcogon, and Libertad, all of which are recipients of the FY 2025 LGSF-SAFPB in the province of Misamis Oriental. The briefing aimed to ensure that participating LGUs are equipped with the proper guidance and technical knowledge necessary for the timely and complete submission of documentary requirements, which include, among others, the Project Proposal, Detailed Engineering Design (DED), Program of Works (POW), and necessary permits and clearances.

𝗖𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡 𝗗𝗘 𝗢𝗥𝗢 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬, 𝗝𝗨𝗟 𝟭𝟲-𝟭𝟴 – To strengthen the peace and order and public safety (POPS) mechanisms of local government units, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Misamis Oriental provided technical assistance during the three-day formulation of the POPS Plan for FY 2026–2028 of LGU Opol, Misamis Oriental held on July 16–18, 2025 at FB Dormitel Suites, Cagayan de Oro City.
