𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖, 𝙈𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙨 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 | The Municipality of Medina successfully conducted its Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Planning for CY 2026–2028, with the guidance and support of the DILG Misamis Oriental Provincial Office headed by Provincial Director Engr. Marisia C. Naybe, together with MLGOO Consuelo B. Barbaso, DILG Opol.
The activity gathered representatives from various national and local government offices who worked hand in hand to ensure that the municipality’s programs and initiatives for peace, order, and public safety are aligned with a clear direction and strengthened through collaboration.
Through the POPS Planning, the LGU and its partners aim to enhance peace and order initiatives, improve public safety mechanisms, and build community resilience. As PD Naybe emphasized, peace and safety are not the duty of a few—it is a shared responsibility that requires unity, cooperation, and compassion from all sectors.
With the continued support of DILG Misamis Oriental, the output of this planning workshop will serve as a solid foundation for Medina’s journey toward a more peaceful, secure, and resilient community. (𝘿𝙄𝙇𝙂 𝙈𝙞𝙨 𝙊𝙧 | M. Manticahon)
