𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗚 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

Cagayan de Oro City – The training was attended by various LGUs from Region X. Representing the province of Misamis Oriental were the LGUs of Binuangan, Magsaysay, Lagonglong, and the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental. The sessions were led by Regional PDMU Engineers — Engr. Kenneth J. Alpas, Engr. Jay Vanny S. Orabao, and Engr. Ma. Neziel T. Dinorog — who shared their technical expertise throughout the activity.

The training aimed to enhance the capacity of local government units (LGUs) in designing water system projects that meet national standards. The sessions covered essential topics such as water source assessment, source development, source considerations, and engineering surveys. Participants also received hands-on training on the use of EPANET software; an industry-standard tool used for hydraulic modeling of water distribution systems.

Workshops were conducted after each technical session, allowing participants to apply their learning and present their outputs. This practical approach ensured better retention and application of the technical knowledge shared.

𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗦 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗟, 𝗝𝗨𝗡𝗘 𝟮  – The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Misamis Oriental convened for the Monday Convocation for the month of June 2025 via Zoom Teleconference.

Engr. Marisia C. Naybe, EnP, CESE, Provincial Director of DILG Misamis Oriental, opened the June 2025 Monday Convocation by thanking the Field Officers for their participation. She provided updates on the upcoming DILG Misamis Oriental Provincial Team Building and reminded the Field Officers to block off the discussed dates.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Misamis Oriental proudly announces the successful completion of the 600-hour On-the-Job Training (OJT) program by two dedicated student-trainees from the City College of El Salvador:

Under the guidance and leadership of Provincial Director Engr. Marisia C. Naybe, the trainees gained invaluable exposure to the daily operations of the DILG Misamis Oriental Provincial Office. Their training journey involved hands-on experience within the office, where they supported various administrative tasks and observed key office functions—enhancing their practical skills, professionalism, and appreciation for the inner workings of public service.

𝗟𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗡, 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗦 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗟, 𝗠𝗔𝗬 𝟮𝟵-𝟯𝟬 – The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Misamis Oriental convened for its 2nd Quarter Team Conference on May 29-30, 2025, at Tiquiano’s Beach Resort, Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental.

The two-day conference featured updates on key initiatives, including the conduct of the Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangays (SGLGB) Pre-Assessment, communicating results for the recently conducted Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC), upcoming Local Committees on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) Functionality Assessment.

Moreover, in-depth discussions relative to DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2025-016 or the Establishment and Operations of Local Governance Transition Teams was provided. The Field Officers were able to raise their concerns on the conduct of the turnover ceremony and preparation of the necessary documents.
